Believe me, this is one of the best “unagi” (eel) restaurant I have ever been.
The taste is very particular: a little bit sweet, deep and delicious. Japanese eel is very famous all around the globe for its quality. So, you cannot leave Shizuoka before having a taste.
If you have the chance to visit this restaurant, I strongly recommend you the “Unaju TAKE” set menu.
It is composed of a Japanese miso soup, some pickels and a huge dish box with rice and grilled eel above it.
What impressed me the most is the size of the eel. It was literally overflowing the dish.
Enough to satisfy anyone. Enjoy !
