The Ryotanji

“It’s a temple surrounded by nature”
“you will fell in love with this peaceful and beautiful place”
“Real beautiful zen garden you”
Visitor’s Review

If you want to enjoy a real Zen garden, the gigantic temple “Ryotanji” is absolutely the place you got to go. Located in the middle of nature, it is a lot more than just a place of prayer, it is a place of relaxation and cultural discovery. When I visited it, the monk in charge of the temple gave me a full explanation about the local history. It was so interesting. I really advise you to take your time there, take a seat on one of the “engawa” (Japanese wooden terrace) and just forget about everything.
