Visitor’s Review

As I arrived it was evident that this place values traditional Japanese culture and hospitality.
The host is a very friendly fellow who offered me a nice cold bottle of green tea and showed me a few of the rooms, all with excellent views overlooking Hamana-ko.
There are a few dozen different patterned robes (yukata) for the ladies to choose from upon check-in to wear during their stay. The rock-made bath is an oasis of tranquility situated beside a lovely Japanese garden.
Fresh seafood is kept live in a deep salt-water pond near the entrance to the house in which are local fish, crabs and shellfish. Japanese style clam soup or western clam chowder is available upon request as well as other great tasting dishes.
This family run business is located in a quiet residential area surrounded by the lake, great for taking leisurely walks around or just relaxing in your room.
